Nicole Richli Meystre lives in the Lausanne region. She is a member of the Photo Club Lausanne and since 2020 she is also on the board of this club.
Images have always been of great importance to her. As an amateur photographer, of course, but also for her professional career in medical imaging as a radiographer.
Globetrotter, during her younger years Nicole developed a passion for travel photography and her photos were characterized by exoticism. Today, she is mainly attracted by the aesthetics. Photographing common subjects, she just need to step over the threshold of the house and follow the light. She likes to get out of her comfort zone and is willing to experiment various techniques. She feels concerned about the destruction of biotopes, so it is very important for her to honor the natural beauty of our environment, by trying to give a poetic touch to her photos.
She loves simple, graphic, even minimalist compositions. For her photos she prefers backlit shots, long exposures, “intentional camera mouvement” and close-ups.
Nicole was elected as a new member of the PHOTOSUISSE board at the Assembly of delegates.
