Due to a decision by CERN’s management not to allow external persons to enter CERN buildings in the coming weeks in order to protect against COVID-19, the DV 2020 cannot take place in Meyrin on 4 April 2020 as planned. All guided tours of CERN have also been cancelled.
As the development of the situation around the Covid-19 is very dynamic and unpredictable at the moment, we have decided not to set a replacement date yet. We will of course continue to monitor the situation and will inform you about a replacement date by the end of June at the latest. In any case, this will be done in time, i.e. at least two months before the date, as provided for in the statutes.
